Yappera means ‘Belonging Place’.

Yappera’s guiding philosophy and principles has always been for children to have strength and resilience to be prepared for school socially, emotionally and developmentally. Part of preparing children for schooling was ensuring they have a strong sense of identity are proud individuals. This involves children having a sound understanding of their culture and history as large part of their early learning experiences.
