New Synthetic Grass Yappera

For the children

We will strive to provide a warm and caring environment to allow children to feel safe and secure.

All of our programs will be developed with a Koori cultural framework.

We will reinforce and encourage our children to develop a sense of, and value, our Koori culture.

We will deliver flexible programs to meet each child's individual needs, strengths and development needs.

For the parents

We will work with parents, guardians and carers to bridge home and centre through the development of a welcoming environment.

We will support parents, guardians and carers by giving them help and guidance in meeting the needs of their children.

We will encourage all parents, guardians and carers to share their ideas and to feel a sense of belonging and equality within our centre.

For the community

We aim to make the centre a special part of the community, by inviting other groups to embrace our Koori culture and to share their own cultures within our centre.

We believe that the community is part of the extended family for the Koori child.

For the staff

We encourage the employment of Koori staff to contribute to the cultural richness of the environment and provide support and cultural knowledge to the koorie children enrolled in the centre.

We welcome non Koorie qualified or experienced staff who enthusiastically embrace our philosophy of service.

All staff are encouraged and developed to ensure they are sensitive to the individual cultural needs and beliefs of our children.

Staff believe in showing respect and interest in all children in a positive and happy manner.

We believe all staff should feel valued and have a sense of belongings in a team.
